German auto maker Volkswagen unveiled the second generation Beetle late last year.
Scheduled for 2012 production, "The new generation looks similar to the first generation, but with a lower profile, losing the bulbous design of the first generation while retaining the overall shape of the Volkswagen Type 1 [original Beetle]."
