Patiently Waiting
Been waiting for this movie since the trailer at the Grindhouse.Machete is getting a theatrical release. Directed by Robert Rodriguez, starring Danny Trejo.
Rodriguez says it's a planned trilogy: Machete, Machete Kills, Machete Kills Again.
The Dream Team
Clip shows highlights of Team USA basketball teams beat down on Team Canada exhibition game played last Friday.
The starting lineup for the 2008 Dream Team competing in Beijing is Jason Kidd, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwight Howard.

Lykke Li - Tonight
This is my new obsession, Swedish singer Lykke Li's, 1st single. Her debut album Youth Novels (produced by Bjorn of Peter Bjorn & John) is coming out August 19th in the United States.
Murs is Back with 9th
9th Wonder & Murs Present.... Sweet Lord
This was an album they recorded almost 2 years ago. I met Murs at a show at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN last summer and he said he was patiently waiting for his label to drop the album.
A year later they give out the album for free.

Trailer for film Watchmen (2009).
Watchmen is one of the highest regarded graphic novel series. Written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons in 1986-1987.
The film is directed by Zack Snyder (of 300 fame).
I slept in 300, but this movie looks like it could be something special.
Tim Burton - Alice in Wonderland
Flim Director Tim Burton (Edward Scissorhands, Batman Returns, Big Fish, Willy Wonka) is set to begin shooting in November a live-action Alice in Wonderland movie.
The screenplay is written by Linda Wolvertoon (writer of The Lion King).
The big news of the day is the casting of Australian actress Mia Wasikowska in the lead role of Alice.
UPDATE: The movie is planned to be in 3-D!!!?!
Kind of Like This
Shwayze - Corona and Lime
Saw this when I was eating honey nut cherrios this morning before leaving for work.
Shwayze is an alternative hip-hop artist out of Malibu, California. Cisco Adler (long hair) also appears in the video and on the song. Wikipedia informs me that these 2 are soon releasing an album and a MTV reality show.
They sort of a remind me of a MTV-friendly version of Mickey Avalon + Dirt Nasty.
