Love will bring the Holidays together
I was reading in some students article run in the American University Eagle newspaper that come post-summer blockbuster movies comes a cold-rainy fall-winter of sad depressing movies. But, I say I come for the tear-jerking love.
The Many Faces of Henry Earl
Henry Earl is without doubt the most famous homeless man of all time.
He is from Lexington, Kentucky and has been arrested 1,333 times since 1970. The video above is a montage of many of his mugshots. Most of his arrests have been for public intoxication + trespassing and never for theft or violent offenses.
Earl is known to do great James Brown impersonations. And is infamously known for his shuffle dance to Will Smith's "Wild Wild West."

I hate to be a sexist, but Sarah Palin is not qualified for office
Tina Fey killed the Sarah Palin impersonation once again last night on SNL. Real funny.
The scariest thing about the skit was that the last answer is nearly identical to the one Palin truly gave to Katie Couric on CBS.
Scary shit. Check it out.

Sacah Baron Cohen Doing his Thing

Sacha Baron Cohen got himself into a little bit of trouble today or last night (don't really understand the across the pond time difference) when he walked onto the runway of some trendy fashion show in Milan, Italy.
The Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Spring/Summer 2009 fashion show. I can't believe their ahead 2 seasons already damn.
Well apparently this is one of many stunts that are going to be clipped together for his followup to 2007's Borat.
The movie Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner is set for a May 2009 release. Starring one of the 3 S.B.C. characters from his British show Da Ali G Show.
Below is clip of Bruno that somebody caught at a Kansas airport. Funny shit.
JetpackMan flies English Channel

In dark times of presidential nominees bailing out on debates to help fuck up the bailing out of our "dieing economy" we need inspiring and comedic distractions. Thank god for Yves Rossy and Sarah Silverman.
Yves Rossy (Swiss 49) flew across the English Channel Friday in less than 10 minutes. He became the first man to fly across solo. He did so wearing his supersweet jetpack that got him going up to 125mph. Got damn. Go to BBCNEWS to watch the clip of the flight.
Too bad I couldn't embed the videos onto the blog. But, they are both worth watching. Sarah Silverman is funny, forreals. I don't drink all that kool-aid hate.

"Pop music filtered through a kaleidoscope"
T. Cole Rachel from Interview got it right. Their music is a marriage of "Prince-like funk with a synthy, Brit-pop party vibe."
I'm all amped for this 2. Coming January 16thhhh
Notorious. The Biggie Smalls biopic motion picture.
This can't make him look good
and this is just funny 2
"She's just there holding a dead bloody mouse."

Fascinating

Charlie Kaufman is a peculiar dude. But, his movies do innovate on a level that I cannot even compare him to any other modern filmmaker. I almost forgot that watching the first 30 seconds or so of this trailer, but then everything just took off from their. I really want to see this.
Opening in limited release on October 24th so who knows when it will come to D.C. or Minnesota.

I went surfing... and this is what I hit
-English artist Damien Hirst (of formaldehyde shark fame) the put all naysayers to sleep when his 2-day auction earned him a grand total of $198,000,000!!!!! Take that Wall Street.
-Speaking of some dope art I want one of these A.J. Fosik wooden animals for my crib.

check out more Fosik's wooden animals over at SupertouchArt

-After surfing the internet for Kate Moss I ran into the world's next biggest supermodel. Check out and learn about hipster Agyness Deyn here.
-Speaking of some dope art I want one of these A.J. Fosik wooden animals for my crib.

-After reading the September issue of Interview magazine I became infatuated with another English artist, James Nares. Check him out here.

-The Interview magazine also had a deep interview with supermodel Kate Moss. Interesting stuff. Even more interesting is the soon to be unveiled 50kg gold statue of Kate Moss next month. Marc Quinn's creation is said to be the largest gold statue made in the world since the time of the Ancient Egyptians. Learn more here and check out the picture preview below.

-Another topic of interest I've been getting all hyped up about at this time of the year are Oscar-worthy movies coming. The first 1 I ran into is the upcoming Broadway adaptation Doubt (December 12th [limited]) starring Philip Seymour Hoffman + Meryl Streep about some Catholic priests. Sounds boring, but worth checking out the trailer. Might catch your fancy.? Maybe. Watch it here.
-and then there is the highly anticipated Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream) helmed project The Wrestler starring Mickey Rourke as professional wrestler Randy "The Ram" Robinson. Might not sound so amazing in blog typing, but the hardware attached to this project already is screaming Academy Awards. The Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. The movie of the Toronto film festival. And articles already being featured in Variety + TIME. Learn more over at The World's Best Ever.
-The last exciting news of my night is the BIG news that Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress has FINALLY announced Gus Frerotte the starting quaterback. Long time coming after watching the Vikings solid team lose their first 2 games with shaky quaterback Tarvaris Jackson.
-I leave you with the modern interpretation of the McCain - Palin ticket.

IF YOU MISSED THIS LAST NIGHT YOU GOTTA SEE IT
Last nights Michael Phelps-hosted SNL season premiere was an overall disappointment. However, the opening skit of Tina Fey playing Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton was amazing. You must check it out.
Tina Fey killed it. Can't wait for 30 Rock to come back!!

Sunday Morning Trailers
Here we go with some good looking trailers for movies coming out this fall.
First, we've got Clint Eastwood's Changeling (October 24th) starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich. Watch the trailer. I'm sort of blown away by Angelina in this. Such a departure from here normal role. I can barely recognize her voice.
Then we've got The Soloist (November 21st) directed by Joe Wright (director of last years Oscar nominated Atonement) starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jaime Foxx. Once again I was blown watching this trailer. Very unexpected role for Jaime Foxx. You gotta watch this one.
And the last new trailer I've been getting all hyped up about is Choke (September 26th) adapted from Chuck Palahniuk's novel (author of Fight Club). No recognizable stars in this one but the Sundance Jury Prize winner makes up for this in ways I can't even explain. Watch the trailer.

Kanye West - Heartless

Kanye West recently performed a believed track for his upcoming 4th LP at the Democratic National Convention.
You can download the live song right here. Kanye West - Heartless.
Even in the low-qualityness of this mp3 you can hear how dope the song sounds. I'm getting psyched to hear more.
A new song and album information will be given by Mr. West himself tonight at the end of MTV's Video Musica Awards.

Sunday Night is going Down

If Sunday wasn't already busy enough with the opening day of the NFL season. Sunday night will feature the Season Primere of the 5th season of HBO show Entourage and the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.
I know every year he VMA's seem to get worse. But, I got high hopes for this years show.
Musical guests include Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry performing Madonna's "Like a Virgin," Christina Aguliera performing her first single "Genie in a Bottle," Pink, Paramore, Lil' Wayne, and Kid Rock.
Britney Spears will open the show! And Kanye West will end the show hopefully releasing his secret new single "Love Lockdown" which I posted the footage of him previewing the track here. The song is supposed to be released on itunes Monday. Which makes the likelihood of the performance that more likely.
Other stars set to make appearances include Jamie Foxx, Chace Crawford, Ashlee Simpson, DJ AM, Travis Barker, John Legend, Kobe Bryant, Leona Lewis, Paris Hilton, Slash, Taylor Swift, Shia LaBeouf, the cast of the Hills, Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Scarlett Johannson, the cast of High School Musical, McLovin', and poseidon himself Michael Phelps.
The VMA's start at 9pm sharp. And Entourage primeres at 10pm.
I think the plan is to watch the VMA's live. Skip Sunday Night Football. DVR Entourage to watch immediately following the VMA's.
Man I forgot there is a new episode of Mad Men also.
It's all good though. Monday Night Football is the Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers @ Green Bay!

The next BIG RAPPER

Charles Hamilton is the next up and coming rapper. Out of Harlem, New York City he's only 20 years old. He's been endorsed by Pharrell Williams. And been videotaped freestylin with The Game and Kanye West.
I previously posted his song related to Willy Wonka. Check that out here.
Then, you gotta listen to the song, "Brooklyn Girls," my favorite of his.
And if you're really feeling CH download his new mixtape...

KANYE WEST SINGING NEW SONG
At the Nike Human Race Concert Kanye began to sing a brand new record.
I remember reading an article around the time Graduation (2007) came out that included a quote from L.A. Reid that compared West's Graduation to Michael Jackson's Off the Wall (1979). Reid said that this one [Graduation] is his Off the Wall and that his next one would be Thriller (the best selling album of all time).
Maybe Kanye's singing is the next step to complete global pop stardom.?
I'M ALL INTO BANKSY THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND

This Banksy graffiti has recently been found on a run-down gas station in Alabama. I'm getting crazy into his work. I read his book Wall and Piece or rather looked through his book today after I found these photos. Amazing stuff.
