EW.com has just recently posted their list for the "20 Fall Movies We Can't
Wait to See."
This reminds me of the pre-internet days when we would pick up the latest Entertainment Weekly issue whenever they said Summer Movie Preview or Fall Winter Preview and you'd learn and get excited for all the upcoming movies.
Take a look and get excited for these 20.
Burn After Reading (Sept. 12) The Coen Brothers
Body of Lies (Oct. 10) Ridley Scott
W (Oct. 17) Oliver Stone
I'm not going to link this one, but High School Musical 3
Synecdoche, New York (Oct. 24) Charlie Kaufman
Changeling (Oct. 31) Clint Eastwood
Zack and Miri Make a Porno (Oct. 31) Kevin Smith
Australia (Nov. 14) Baz Luhrmann
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Dec. 25) David Fincher
Revolutionary Road (Dec. 26) Sam Mendes
I remember thinking earlier this year that this winter would be dissapointing. Especially because the last few years have been so great (2006: The Departed, Babel, Blood Diamond, Pan's Labyrinth, Children of Men 2007: No Country for Old Men, Michael Clayton, There Will Be Blood, Juno) and how this summers movies were so great (Dark Knight, Wackness, Iron Man, Step Brothers, Pineapple Express, Tropic Thunder, Vicky Cristina Barcelona*), but reading this list I got my weekends planned from here till Christmas!!!!!!!!
*Just saw Woody Allen's new movie this weekend Vicky Cristina Barcelona starring Javier Bardem, Scarlett Johannsen, and Penelope Cruz. Definetly worth seeing.
